Kenmore
Kenmore is located along the northernmost shore of Lake Washington. It is a suburban commuter town at the mouth of the Sammamish River and is connected to the Burke-Gilman Trail, which both run east–west along the lakeshore. Kenmore is home to Bastyr University, the top natural medicine university and Kenmore Air, the largest seaplane-only passenger facility of its kind in the United States.

Interesting Places To Visit:
Saint Edward State Park is a 326-acre day-use park with 3,000 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Washington. Picnic tables are available first come, first served, and the Grotto and several picnic areas are available for rental. There is no watercraft launch at the park, but paddlers launching from other parts of Lake Washington can bring their kayaks and boards onto the beach. Kids enjoy unstructured fun on the grass fields and playground equipment, kayakers cruise Lake Washington and hikers and mountain bikers take to the trails.
Wallace Swamp Creek Park is an open space of approximately 25-acres located adjacent to the west and north side of Kenmore Elementary School. This open space extends east and west across Swamp Creek. A bridge crosses Swamp Creek allowing for salmon spawning views, access to stream and walking or riding trails.
Log Boom Park is a 3.9-acre park provides access to over 1200 lineal feet of shoreline on Kenmore's Lake Washington waterfront. The public dock is a fantastic place to watch the seaplanes land, toss out a line for fishing or simply enjoy the sunset. Other features include the Kenmore History Path, playground area, picnic tables, access to the Burke-Gilman Trail, daytime moorage, and restroom facility. The park was renamed Tracy Owen Station after the late King County Councilmember, Tracy Owen.
Kenmore Air is among the best-known and most respected seaplane operations in the world. With 25 aircraft in operation, 52 pilots on staff and more than 250 employees in peak season, Kenmore Air flies passengers to lakes, harbors, and tarmac among the mist-shrouded fjords and islands of the US and Canadian northwest.
Kenmore Lanes is the largest bowling center North of Reno, Nevada and West of the Mississippi. With 50 lanes, they are dedicated to the sport of bowling through leagues, youth development and many different type of tournament play.
