We had never bought a home before and were doing all of the work ourselves with a previous realtor and it was extremely stressful... We were about to give up for a while, b/c everything we were finding was already sold, or our previous realtor couldn't meet us in time to view before a ton of bids beat us to the punch. We decided to try out Dan and Shauna (they were referred to us from a co-worker) and then the entire ball game changed. "My wife and I were first time home buyers. We were very lucky to pick Dan Willner as our agent. In a very difficult market, we were unsure what areas we might want to live in. Dan went out of his way to show us places all around town (everywhere from Everett to Kent).
Compared to two other realtors that I dealt with, Dan really stood out as someone who paid the closest attention to our search criteria. He found the best places for us to view by matching our criteria with uncanny skill. I can't say enough about his skill in this area (it is so important).
When it came time to make offers, the odds were against us in a strong seller's market; but Dan really knew what to do. "Shauna has the patience of a saint. I first met her at an open house in Seattle nearly a year before finally purchasing a house. I was living in California, eager to return home to Seattle. Shauna previewed countless houses for us while we were out of state, knowing all the while we were unsure of when exactly we would be able to buy and move. Finally, at least ten months after Shauna started helping us with our search, we were ready. Only to find we were moving back during what possibly could have been the worst buyers' market in years.
